| Will’s Kids is a pay-it-forward 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to developing human potential and making a positive difference in the lives of our kids. We assist with ongoing private lessons, little league and youth activities, school activities, technology acquisition, tutoring, scholarships, etc., for children ages 4-18. For kids who are inspired to be great at something, we seek to eliminate the limits to success, exclusions to imagination, and barriers to dreams. Our outreach is as vast as a child’s imagination, encompassing all sports, arts and vocations. We are requesting your assistance in our upcoming fund-raising efforts to help the youth of our community. Carpe Diem! is a first-year fund-raising effort of our organization, scheduled for October 16th, 2010 from 11 am to 4 pm at Town Center in Kingwood. Our vision is to have an event of the kids, by the kids, and for the kids to seize the day and seize the dream of their imagination. Our first-year competitions (for kids ages 4-18) will include a “most creative hot dog” cooking competition, a juried art show, and a judged band competition, with all winners receiving scholarships to pursue their dreams. Our entertainment will include Sundance Head, a local former American Idol finalist, and our quest to find the Top Dog in our weiner dog races. Envisioned as an event OF the kids, BY the kids and FOR the kids, we are actively pursuing partners who definitively align with our purpose, and we are inviting all kids to seize the day and seize the dreams of their imaginations!
